February 2007 Pug Winner : "Norma Grace" Read what Norma Grace's owner says about her:
This is my Pug, Norma Grace. She is approximately 12 years old and has been with me for about 6 years. I used to volunteer at a no-kill shelter and Norma came in along with four other Pug "siblings" of various ages. Their guardian/owner was going to jail. At the time, I wasn't interested in adopting another dog as there were four at home already. Norma didn't show well to prospective families or individuals as she was extremely shy and introverted; definitely a characteristic ingrained from her previous home life. She tugged at my heart strings and I to hers. Long story short, she came home with me and has never looked back. One of her other canine companions was Gyzmo, a black Pug that passed away last year at the ripe old age of 19. |
